The Morris Hill neighborhood is made up of a mix of mid-century, single-family homes as well as some older farmhouses and newer duplex and apartment complexes, with most subdivisions developed between the 1940s and ’60s. Many still retain water rights for irrigation canals. You’ll primarily find small- to medium-sized homes with two to four-bedroom – while most are older, there are some newer residences built between 1970 and 1999. Students here attend outstanding Boise schools, including Jefferson Elementary, South Junior High, and Borah High.
When exploring the various Morris Hill real estate options, you’re likely to find some smaller bargain-priced properties such as a two-bedroom townhome built in 1983 and updated since, with granite counters and new stainless-steel appliances. Or, perhaps a luxurious three-bedroom home recently built on a quarter-acre lot with a large outdoor patio, low-maintenance grounds, and a family room with 12-foot-high ceilings.
